annnndddd i’m back!

so i’ve been at a loss for what to post on my tumblr for a couple months now. It’s tricky ya know? I have a lot of sections in my life. I’ve discovered that things in general are WAY more than two at once. Infact, it’s infinity at once. and two. and three. and 42 of course. All the in betweens, aboves, belows, around and throughs. When it comes down to it, it’s the open-ness of it all. an open mind. and open heart. open soul. even if those aren’t realy things. they symbolize things. intangible things? yes. from my perspective at least. from this silly body world we’ve got going on.

so, with that said. i realized, while complimenting my roommate on her incredible and inspiring cooking spirit, that some of my more intimate activities (no, not like that. duh.) of my life…like gardening. and cooking. and poetry. and book recommendations. andddd reflections on the beauty of the earth. and recycling. and learning about sustainable, reasonable solutions to modern day pollution issues and whatever else i feel worthy to share with you…might be worth sharing! and if it’s seems worth it. then it probably is.

anyways, like i said. it’s SO much more than two at once. well, i mean, it is and it isn’t.

so for my first rejuvianted tumblr account post. i give you……

what i had for lunch!

THURSDAY ROCKS MY SOCKS LUNCH SPECIAL

The Seaweed Burrito

Making burritos is like the easiest, most ancient way of eating multiple types of food in one delicious, easily-portable, awesome eating device. have you ever thought about wrapping a burrito in a large piece of seaweed though?! It’s like vertical sushi. and it’s life-changing.

Here’s what I put in mine!

-one large piece of seaweed

-beets (steamed from the night before)

– cauliflower (from the same pot as the beets)

– jalapeno yogurt cheese (trader joe’s brand, but rice cheese or something could be yummy too!)

-cous cous (it’s easier to cook then rice…faster too!)

-chard

-reishi mushroom extract (find at yer local health food store)

-chia seeds

-a dash of hemp powder

– teriyaki sauce (the organic kind)

– some sirachi sauce (if yer into spicy like me!)

THEN….roll it uppppp

and you’ve got yerself a delicious, healthy, sustainable, light lunch of awesomeness!

Mucho amor,

am

(aka alicia murphy yo!)
