we <3 ventura!

we played at Green Art People in Ventura this past wednesday and oh my goodness…

we already love ventura for a multitude of reasons (zoey’s cafe, the incredible coast it sits on, the pro-small business mentality, etc.) but this time i can very assuredly say our love was taken to the next level.

Green Art People is a beautiful venue/community art space that is truly a place grown out of love and goodness, ventura style. We had so much fun! It is a must see if you are passing through town or visiting. Go to a show and donate some mula to keep their doors and arms open to the community of artists that travel through or live there!

we got to open for ventura local, Jade Hendrix! She is so wonderful, in spirit and in sound. You should really check her out. She will soothe your mind with positive lyrics and her milky, soulful voice! Plus, we have the same model of guitar ;)

They showered us with goodies! A live painter! A show poster! A tiny hat!
